Distance education refers to courses where the student and facilitator do not necessarily interact in a physical classroom. It uses Internet, email and other technology and forms of communication to achieve learning objectives. Evidence suggests that distance education learning, whether it is fully online or in a hybrid format, is effective for the achievement of learning outcomes in the Nutrition and Dietetics field.
The Project will convert and offer six courses in distance education format as an alternative method of learning for students. The courses include:
